February 2023 - Star of the Month - Ashley Twigg

Posted On: February 22, 2023 by Austin Bank in:

In an organization the size of our bank, it is sometimes easy to overlook the departments you may not work with on a daily basis, or understand the role they play in day-to-day operations.  Such may be the case with this month’s Star.  But, she has earned the respect and recognition of those around her for her Star qualities.  It is for these reasons we are happy to announce that Ashley Twigg, HMDA Assistant, is our February Star of the Month. The Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), enacted by Congress in 1975, requires certain financial institutions to collect, report and disclose information about their mortgage lending activity.  As Austin Bank falls under the jurisdiction of this act, the bank has a HMDA department ensuring our compliance with all regulations.  Ashley came to work for the bank in 2018 as a HMDA Assistant.  She brought with her previous experience working at a local title company along with several years of administrative skills.
